Dec 19th Woodstock 2 V 1 Sarnia Spirit
Woodstock took a 2 - 0 lead at half after Sarnia
dictated most of the play. A good effort from Sarnia
in the second half as
Sydney Caron pulled one back from the penalty spot
to bring Sarnia back into the game. Sarnia pressed
hard for the equaliser,
Chloe Kennedy twice hitting the crossbar,but ran out
of time. 2 - 1 loss.
Dec 19th Sarnia Spirit 2 V 0 Southend United
Sarnia bounced back from there loss to Woodstock
with a 2 - 0 win against Southend. Sydney Caron
opened the scoring
With a nice volley to the top corner, Mickayla Moses
then added a second goal to secure the points.
Madisyn Mika had
The shutout for Sarnia in net.
Jan 9th Dorchester 2 V 2 Sarnia Spirit
Sarnia got off to bad start going 1 down from kick
off, Mickayla Moses tied it up with a back post tap
in before half.
Dorchester again took the lead leaving Sarnia to
chase the game. Constant pressure from Sarnia paid
off when Mickayla
Moses scored her second of the game to tie it up.
Final 2 - 2.
Jan 9th Sarnia Spirit 2 V 2 NorWest Wolfpack
Sarnia got off to a great start against 1st place
NorWest when Chloe Kennedy broke through to outpace
the Norwest
Defence and open the scoring , Sarnia went 2 up in
the second half with a great left foot strike from
Bianca Sapone.
After controlling most of the game, Sarnia saw there
lead slip as Norwest battled back with 2 late goals
to finish 2 - 2 tie.
