The Imperial Trophy, one of the oldest in the
nation, will be up for grabs when the annual event
gets underway Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Sarnia Golf
& Curling Club. The field of thirty two teams
includes several former champions. The spiel
continues its popularity from year to year, both
locally and from the southern Ontario area. This
years entries include teams from London, Woodstock,
Thunder Bay, Glencoe, Petrolia, Wallaceburg, Chatham
and Forest.
Play continues all day Friday and Saturday starting
at 9:00 am. The finalists will be led onto the ice
by the piper at 3:00 pm Saturday.
