LSSAA results for Thursday, February 10th

It was the final day of LSSAA action on Thursday as volleyball headlined the day.

 

In junior action St. Christopher's beat St. Clair 3-0, winning the three sets 25-12, 25-15, 25-17. Players of the match for the Cyclones were Kylene d'Esterre, Laurenne d'Esterre and Emily Winsor while Ashley Bisson and Chelsea Price were for the Colts.

 

Northern also beat SCITS 3-0 winning 25-19, 25-13, 25-11. Melanie Lumby and Mackenzie Colbran were the Players of the match for the Vikings while Meg Thevenot and Alex Coyle were for the Bombers.

 

And finally LCCVI beat North Lambton 2-1, winning 25-15, 25-20 and dropping one set 25-17 to the Eagles. Emily Williams was named the player of the match.

 

In senior action, Northern beat SCITS 3-0, winning 25-10, 25-4, 25-12. Kelsie Roberts was the player of the match for Northern while Mallory Last, Chloe Cadieux andKate Nelles were for the Bombers.

 

LCCVI won 3-0 over North Lambton, winning 25-18, 25-22, 25-12.

 

And St. Patrick's defeated St. Francois-Xavier 3-, winning 25-17 ; 25-18 ; 25-11. Hillary Graham and Jacey Neinhuis were the players of the game for the Irish while Regan Boeykens was for St. Francois.

 

Two games were also on schedule for boys hockey as Northern defeated North Lambton 11-1 and St. Clair defeated SCITS 9-0 to move into second place with LCCVI. St. Clair will take the second place honours as they finished with more wins.

 

LCCVI will then take on St. Clair on Thursday February 17th at Clearwater in one playoff match, while St. Christopher's takes on Northern on Tuesday, February 15th at the RBC Centre in the other match up.
