The
St. Clair Colts senior boys basketball team picked
up another victory Thursday afternoon with a 55-41

held the Eagles as they tried to feed the ball to
Mike Lucier, but St. Clair managed to put up 9
points to the Eagles 1. J. Degroot put in four
points, while J. Norland and S. Hughes added two
points in the early lead. The Eagles would manage to
close the gap late in the quarter, as Lucier scored

bring the Eagles to within three after the first.
In the
second the Eagles continued their press and managed
to tie the game at 14-14. Lucier and O'Neal were in
on the scoring, while A. Moose adds two and Maitland

would add two with a drive down the baseline and
laying it up, while P. Toner got a rebound off a
foul shot to add two more to give the Colts a 23-16

passing. By the end of the third, the Colts held a
ten point lead 38-28.
In the
final quarter the Colts opened with seven points to
take a 44-28 lead which included five points from J.
Degroot. But the Eagles would begin to cut into the
lead as they go on a six point run. But the Colts
would capitalize on steals and move down the court
to put in buckets as J. Moffat scored six points in
the final quarter from within the paint. Lucier
would add six in the quarter including two slams,
but the Eagles couldn't come back from the Colt lead
and fell 55-41.
