Lambton
was back on the road on Monday night in London to
attempt to get into the series.
The game would remain scoreless until London was
able to capitalize on a Jr. Sting penalty to score a
power play goal and take the lead.
The score would stay 1-0 through the end of period
one but the Jr. Knights would increase their lead to
2-0 and would score again less than a minute later
to make it 3-0.
The Jr. Sting were struggling to win puck battles
and to get any sustain attacks going on the London
net.
After a Lambton goalie change, again hoping to
change the momentum, the Jr. Knights scored to
increase the lead to 4-0 and as has been the case
throughout the series London scored quickly again to
make it 5-0.
The Jr. Sting attempted to mount a comeback in the
third but none was in the offing and the game ended
in a 5-0 loss for Lambton and a series sweep by
London.
Good luck to the very strong London Jr. Knights.
Lambton will join the Alliance Playoffs in the next
1 – 2 weeks.
