sarniasports.com December 17th, 2010

The Point Edward Atom Blackhawks got their second win in as many days led by Matthew Laframboise’s hat-trick when they beat Lambton Shores 12-1 in Lambton-Middlesex league action.

The Predators were able to take a 1-0 lead early as the Point came out a little flat from their travel to Forest but as the period progressed their fore-checking improved and the defense kept the puck in the Predators zone. Kennedy and Horner teamed up to get the Hawks on the board mid-way through the period and Gladwish scored thirty seconds later take a 2-1 lead. Laframboise made it 3-1 going into the second period when he drove the puck from the Hawks end to score.

Jonathan King got the second period going when he scored two consecutive goals to extend the Point’s lead to 5-1. The Hawks took control of the game and by the time the second period had ended, Gladwish and Laframboise had their second goals of the game to lead the Hawks into the third with a 6 goal cushion.

The third saw Point goals from Laframboise(3), Robson, Cunningham, Kootstra & Best.
