Dresden had
a two goal
lead in the
first on
Wallaceburg,
but the
Lakers would
pull out the
victory for
a 5-3 win.
Cody McPhail
opened the
scoring for
Dresden
unassisted a
1:26 into
the game,
followed by
Jim Rouse at
the 7:36
mark of the
first. But
the Lakers
would take
the lead as
Tyson Issac
would score
a hat-trick
in six
minutes,
twenty-four
seconds, to
give the
Lakers a 3-2
lead. Rouse
would get
his second
of the game
shorthanded
to tie
things up at
three each
heading into
the second.
Rob Pollock
in the
second would
score two
goals, two
minutes
apart to
give the
Lakers a 5-3
lead. From
there, both
goals shut
down any
goal
scoring, as
5-3 would be
the final.
Matt
Berglund
picks up his
15th win of
the season,
making 20
saves on 23
shots.
Wallaceburg
still
remains
perfect at
home, but
will take it
on the road
as they have
a rematch
with Dresden
on Friday,
December
10th.
