A late 3rd
period goal, second of the game for Shawn Lubbers
clinched the win for the Lakers after 2 strong
periods.
Wheatley player Andy Stevenson scored 2 quick goals
early in the 3rd period to bring Wheatley back into
the game.
Lakers Norm Leger scored for the Lakers along with
Tyson Isaac with 2 goals one of which was a empty
net goal. Goalie Matt Berglund
picked up an assist on the third Laker Goal. Final
was 5-2
The Teddy Bear Toss was a great success with
approximately 500 Teddy Bears tossed on the ice when
the Lakers scored their first goal. The Teddy Bears
were donated to the Salvation Army.
