Fifth place will be on the line tonight when the
Sarnia Legionnaires play a big game at the Brock
Street Barn.

– Sarnia Legionnaires (15-13-3) vs. St. Marys
Lincolns (16-11-2)
SIGNIFICANCE
– St. Marys sits in fifth spot in the nine-team
Western Ontario Hockey Conference with 34 points,
one more than the sixth place Legionnaires. A win in
regulation time would vault Sarnia into fifth, a
single point up on the Lincs and just three back of
the fourth place St. Thomas Stars.

– Tonight at 7:10 p.m. at the Sarnia Arena.
WHO'S HOT:

Jesse Drydak had three goals and two assists in his
last outing, although one of the goals doesn't count
in his totals because it was a shootout winner.
Owen Rogers also had four points in his last game,
including two goals and two assists.
St. Marys
– Bryan McCauley has seven points in his last three
games, while Sean Consitt has five points in his
last three.
LAST OUTINGS
– Both clubs are coming off big wins. The
Legionnaires picked up a 5-4 win on the road in
Chatham last Sunday, while the Lincolns defeated
Lambton Shores 9-2.
HISTORY
– Sarnia has won both games between the two teams
this season, 4-1 in September and 2-1 in November.
Goalie Kyle Washer, who registered both victories
against St. Marys, will get the start for Sarnia
tonight.
Forward Braden Kavaratzis will also return to
action, after spending a couple of games with the
Sting in the OHL.
SPECIAL TEAMS
-- St. Marys has the second best powerplay in the
league, scoring once in every four tries with the
extra man. Sarnia is clicking once in every five
attempts. St. Marys also has a better penalty
killing record, with a success rate of 82.7 per
cent, compared to 76.3 for the Legionnaires.
