The Sarnia Major Atom Sting returned to their winning form this weekend with a convincing 8 – 1 win over the North London Nationals on Sunday at Germain Arena.

The Sting started strong in this game and never let up.  This was a solid team effort, with Jake Vince leading the offensive attack with 4 goals and 2 assists.  The Sting defence was once again very solid, minimizing any quality scoring opportunities, London’s only goal being scored on the power play.  Sarnia would outshoot the Nationals by a 34 – 16 margin and Max Musico was solid in the net for the win.

The rest of the Sting scoring was supplied by Curtis Marks with 2 goals, 2 assists, Dawson Young and Devin Devooght both had 1 goal, 1 assist, Tristan Haagsma, Jordan Hurtubise, Matthew Torti and Justin Houle all added 2 assists and Mackenzie Caley had 1 assist.
