The Wallaceburg Lakes win their 20th of the season with a 5-2 win over the Dresden Jr. Kings Friday night in Dresden.
Nash Lozon opened the first period with two powerplay goals, each assisted by Tyson Isaac, as the Lakers took a 2-0 lead heading into the second. Dresden would cut into the lead early in the second, scoring a powerplay goal of their own as Jim Rouse made it 2-1. But Isaac would add a goal of his own midway through the second to put the Lakes back up by two.
In the third, the Lakers would spread their lead further as Sam Jasmin added a goal, and Isaac added his second of the game. Both of his goals were assisted by Lozon. Dresden would get a late third period goal to make it 5-2, but the Lakers would be to much and take the victory.
