Brandon Campbell made 52 saves in Alvinston's 3-2 victory over the Kingsville Comets. The Flyers were outshot 54-28, but still managed to come away with the victory.
Kingsville held the first period lead, as Chris Bondy put in the only goal of the first period to give the Comets a 1-0 lead. But Alvinston would score in the second, as Chris Edwards would add his team leading, 20th of the season to tie things at 1-1. Joe Archer would score two minutes later to give the Flyers their first lead of the game.
In the third, Archer would get his second of the game 1:32 into the third on the powerplay, to put the Flyers up by two. Kingsville would add a late third period goal by Justin Parker, but the Flyers would come away with the victory.
Campbell would pick up his 11th win of the season while Alvinston is one point behind Mooretown for second on the North Division. Alvinston will next take on Belle River on Friday, December 10th.
