River City Boxing held an event Saturday night in Sarnia with nine fights being featured on the card. The main event was between Kirk Killam of Lakeview, Goderich against Steve Wyville of River City, Sarnia. The fight was dedicated to Tim Taylor, head coach and organizer of River City Boxing who underwent surgary over the summer for brain tumors. The main event went to the scoring cards in which the judges deemed the fight a draw.

In other bouts, Tanner Tremblay of Brantford, and Dylan Taylor of Sarnia was given Fight of the Night honours. Taylor is the grandson of Tim Taylor. As well, his daughter Mandy Taylor fought Shelby Dines of Goderich to a draw as well.
