Sarniasports.com December 2nd, 2010

The Jr Sting PeeWee '98 squad hit the road in recent action with trips to Windsor and Brantford and were able to come away with two points for their efforts.

In Windsor the Jr Sting lead the Spitfires for most of the game by a score of 1-0 until Windsor was able to score three in the third period and hang on for a 3-2 victory over the Lambton squad. Anthony Hurtubise was flying solo and put up a good effort in the net. Scoring was provided by Brett Barnes and Ryan Greenaway, with assists to Brock Perry and Franco Sproviero.

On a rare, weeknight road trip the Jr Sting travelled to Brantford to battle the 99er's in the first of two meetings on the season. The game was fast paced and both teams held one goal leads at various points in the contest with the Lambton team scoring the final marker with only thirteen seconds remaining to come away with a 4-3 victory. Notching the game winner was Greenaway, assisted by Alec Dekoning and Perry. Other scorers were Ethan Dupont, Dekoning and Logan Scott with assists to Perry and Jarret Marks. Hurtubise was busy, particularly in the penalty filled second period and came up with some big saves.
