keeping on
the heels of

they defeat
the Blenheim
Blades 5-2
Friday night
in Alvinston.
Adam
Steadman got
the only
goal of the
first period
for the
Flyers,
giving them
a 1-0 lead
after the
first. But
the Blades
would tie it
quickly in
the second
on the
powerplay,
as Andrew
France
scored
unassisted
to tie the
game at 1-1.
But Alviston
would get
two late
goals under
a minute
apart, as
Chris
Edwards and
Brock Hunter
added goals
to put the
Flyers up by
two heading
into the
third.
Steadman
would add
two in the
third for
the
hat-trick,
to put the
Flyers up by
four. Thomas
Innes would
score late
for the
Blades, but
the Flyers
would hang
out for the
5-2 victory.
Steadman got
the
hat-trick,
while Chris
Edwards got
a goal and
three
assists,
chipping in
on each of
Steadman's
goals for a
four point
night.
Brandon
Campbell got
his 10th win
of the
season in
the victory.
