The
Petrolia Squires took on Thedford in a away game at
the RBC Centre Saturday afternoon, and took the game
4-3 over the at home Dirty Dogs.
Brad Hull
started the scoring for the Squires, as he put in a
powerplay goal early in the first period. Greg
Bailey would add another powerplay goal for the
Squires to make it 2-0. Thedford would get one back
as Stephen McLinchey added the third powerplay goal
of the third to make it 2-1 after one.
Aaron
Brand would put the Squires up 3-1 with his early
second period goal. Thedford would get another
though to keep the game to within one, as Justin
Lightfoot put it passed the Squire goalie. Thedford
would tie the game in the third as Cody Zauire would
make it 3-3. But Squire leading scorer Jason Polera
would score late in the third to give the Squires a
4-3 victory. |
