Point Edward Atom Blackhawks had a slow start but came up as a winner

The Point Edward Atom Blackhawks had a slow start on the road against Strathroy Red but were able to come out with another victory.  Strathroy would start the scoring late in the 1st period but then was held off the score sheet for the rest of the game.

 

The Blackhawks went scoreless in the first 2 periods but tied things up the game early in the 3rd period on a goal scored by Jeff Horner, assisted by Jonathon King and Jared Henry.  Then late in the 3rd, Jonathon King would score the game winner, assisted by Rian Dinyer and Josh MacDonald.  The Blackhawks held on to the 2 - 1 lead and the game ended in curfew with a strong effort by both teams.
