Sarnia, ON – Sarnia Sting Head Coach and General Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Daniel Nikandrov to an OHL Contract and Education Package.

 

“We are very pleased to have signed Daniel to an OHL Contract and Education Package.  I have seen Daniel play a lot this year with the Legionnaires and I am very impressed with both his skill level and hockey knowledge.  Again we are thrilled to have Daniel and his family commit to both the Sarnia Sting and the Ontario Hockey League” commented Jacques Beaulieu.

 

Nikandrov was the Sting’s 4^th round selection (68^th overall) in the 2011 OHL Priority Selection.

 

A native of Richmond Hill, Nikandrov played last season with the Markham Majors Midget team and this season is playing locally with the Sarnia Legionnaire Jr. B team.
