Michael Marinaro & Margaret Purdy skated at the 2012 Skate Canada Challenge in Regina, Saskatchewan this past weekend and finished in 3rd in the Senior Pairs Event.

The local pair are former 2010 Junior Canadian Champions and place at the 2010 Junior Worlds Champions and have competed Internationally.
 

Michael is a member of the Point Edward skating club is the son of Beverley and Albert Marinaro of Sarnia.   Margaret is the daughter of Lyn and Brad Purdy of Strathroy,   The pair trains at the Competitive Skating Centre of Strathroy and are coached by Scott Rachuk and Alison Purkiss.
