Sarnia, ON – Sarnia Sting Head Coach and General
Manager Jacques Beaulieu announced today that the
hockey club has signed free agent Centre Nick Latta.
Latta who played last season with the Sting as an
Import Player has been granted “Non Import” Status
by the Canadian Hockey League in a ruling made this
morning.
Sting General Manager Jacques Beaulieu’s reaction to
the signing.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring Nick back to
the hockey club for a second season. This once again
just addresses our depth up front and adds another
valuable piece to our team. Nick is a skilled centre
who has participated internationally in several
prestigious tournaments and has handled himself very
well against the top junior players in the world.”
