Mitchel Blondin will compete at this years Ontario
ParaSports Summer games are this weekend as Sarnia's
only hometown athlete.
Blondin,
19, will compete in the 100 and 200 meter's at the
St. Patrick's track, and is honoured to be competing
in his hometown, as this will be Blondin's second
games, the first being in Woodstock, ON where he
also competed in the 100 and 200.
Blondin
has put in lots of work practicing his starts, as
well as training for the event, and has been doing
so since he was 8 years old.
The
ParaSports Summer Games run August 20th to 21st,
with competitions in Track & Field, Boccia, Goalball,
and Para-Equestrian.
