The Lambton Jr. Sting AAA Hockey Association held it's annual year end awards banquet Thursday evening at the Dante Club in Sarnia. Special guest speaker for the evening was former Lambton AAA player Brad Staubitz who now plays in the NHL for the Minnesota Wild. 
The first award for the evening was presented to Braden Palocz who was chosen to receive the Jalen Day Memorial Award. The trophy was presented by David Day and Jalen's former goalie coach Paul Burgess.
The Coach of the Year was presented by George Ludgate to Minor Midget Coach Doug Slipacoff. The Minor Midget Team also won the Team of Year Award.

Susan Doughty was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award (absent) and The Outstanding Leadership Award the newest award for the Lambton AAA association was presented to Ken Dwinell by Paul Mortier and Brian Hurlock.
The presentations then turned to the individual team player awards who were presented with the Micor Sports Award.
