Tuesday was suppose to mark the start of the boys baseball league, but with the rainy weather in Sarnia, the St. Christopher vs LCCVI game had to be postponed.
Both action did happen on Tuesday, including three games in senior boys soccer action.
Northern Lambton remains undefeated with a 3-1 victory over LCCVI. Bart Vermeer had the hat-trick for the Eagles, and Spencer Krall had the lone goal for the Lancers who are now 0-3 this season.
St. Christopher's got a big 5-0 victory over SCITS, giving them a 1-1-0-0 record on the season, while also not allowing a single goal to be scored this year. Bell, DeCarolis, Moxley, Spinozzi and Fazzalari each had single goals in the game for the Cyclones.
Finally the St. Clair Colts won their second of the season with a 1-0 victory over the Northern Vikings. PJ Loosemore had the lone goal in the game, while Kyle Hampshire had the shutout for the Colts.
In senior girls soccer action, North Lambton and LCCVI went to a 2-2 draw, but Janelle McLean scored the shootout winner for the Lancers to give them the victory. Nikki Arthur and Michaela Van Kessel scored for the Eagles while Amanda Quinn and Julia VanDammee scored for the Lancers.
