The Lambton Shores Predators announced their hockey operations personal, which includes new head coach Mark Davis and many other returning faces.
Roop Chanderdat will continue his role as President of Hockey Operations for the Forest based hockey club.
"We have assembled a tremendous group to lead our team this season," said Chanderdat. "All of these guys bring knowledge and experience to the table and most of all they are all dedicated to making the Lambton Shores Predators Jr. B Team a successful program."
As well as Chanderdat, General Manager Todd Bidner will also be returning to the club, but will also take up a Co-Coach role as well.
"I am excited to bring Mark Davis and Doug Slipacoff on board. With our combined experience and knowledge we are committed to assemble a team mixed with local talent and veteran players that will build a Jr. B franchise that the Lambton Shores community will be proud of. We are looking forward to a fantastic turnout for our mini camp on May 13th & 14th and a very successful 2011/12 season," said Bidner
Doug Slipacoff is now the assistant coach of the Predators as well.
"It's an honour to be associated with the Lambton Shores Predators hockey organization at such an exciting time," Slipacoff said. "It is clear that Roop is committed to winning and building a program of excellence here in Lambton Shores as shown by the support staff he has been able to assemble."
Slipacoff was a former Petrolia Jet player under Mark Davis and they were able to capture the Western Jr. B Championship.
Since the Jets moved to Lambton Shores, they have had a challenging experience to say the least, with the Predators only winning 4 games last season.
Also returning for the Predators is Ray Giffen as Director of Player Personal and Assistant GM, and Chris McLean as assistant coach.
