The Spring season is underway in LSSAA high school action, as soccer and rugby headline the days action.

In the single rugby game on the day, St. Clair shutout St. Christopher's 31-0 in senior girls rugby. St. Clair improves to 2-0 on the season, while St. Christopher goes to 1-1.

In senior girls soccer action, Nikki Arthur scored the lone goal for the North Lambton Eagles as they shutout the St. Patrick Fighting Irish 1-0.

Kelsie Roberts scored two goals, while Jessica Kozachuk got the shutout for the Northern Vikings, as they go on to a 3-0 win over the Cyclones. Toru Regan added the third goal for the Vikings.

LCCVI would defeat St. Clair 3-2, as Amanda Quinn scored twice for the Lancers, and Shaylynn McDonald scored once. Candace Linker and Alex Allen had single goals for the Colts.

In senior boys soccer action, North Lambton defeated St. Patrick's 4-2. Bart Bermeer had two goals for the Eagles, while Shane Johnston and Dan Ryan each had single goals. George Stamm and Jamie Alves had the goals for the Irish.

And St. Clair would shutout LCCVI 1-0, as Kyle Hampshire picked up the shutout and Kalen Hellinga scored for the Colts.
