sarniasports.com April 12th, 2011

Lambton Shores Predators President , Co-Owner and General Manager Roop Chanderdat announced today that long time coach Mark Davis will be on the bench as Head Coach for the Predators. Davis has coached for over 25 years and has a history of Championships in his resume.

"I am very proud and excited to be with the Predators” says Mark Davis. “I am looking forward to the challenge of coaching and moving the Predators to a playoff position in the 2011/2012 Season”

Davis has been to the South Western Jr. B Championships twice with Sarnia Ransom B's in 1989/90 and 1992/93, as well as Petrolia Jets and Chatham Maroons. He also coached the Jr. C Mooretown Flags 1987/88 team and the Wallaceburg Flags 1998/99 team to the All Ontario Championship.

The Predators finished at the bottom of the Western Conference with a 4-46-1 record. The Predators have had a challenging time since moving from Petrolia to Lambton Shores, sporting a losing record each season they have been in Forest.

“This is another step in building a strong program” says Chanderdat. “Mark’s experience and work ethic should help our organization move forward”

Lambton Shores  opens their camp at the Dorchester Arena on Friday, May 13th and 14th.
