Legionnaires Dropped Game 3 in LaSalle

The
Sarnia Legionnaires dropped a 6
- 2 loss against the LaSalle
Vipers in LaSalle in game 3 of
Greater Ontario Jr B hockey
playoff.
The two teams
were tied at 1 - 1 after the
first period and LaSalle took a
one point edge in the second but
went on and added three more in
the third that included an empty
net goal.
Brock Perry
scored both of the Legionnaires
goals the first with Brandon
Layman and Eric Marsh earning
the assist and the second on the
power play with Ryan Vendramin
as the helper.
Brett Primeau led
the Vipers scoring two goals
with singles by Manny Silverio,
Blake Jones, Liam MacDougall and
Eric Kirby.
LaSalle outshout
Sarnia 32 - 25. Shane
Battler made 26 saves on 31
shots in net for the Legion.
Eli Billing earned the win with
23 saves.
LaSalle leads the
quarter final series 2 - 1.
The two teams are back in action
Tuesday in Sarnia for game 4.
Game time 7:10 pm at the Sarnia
Arena.
