Dan Chopp and Justin Romanik highlight the
Lambton County Tenpin
Association bowling report this
week as they tossed perfect
games in their respective
leagues at Marcin Bowl. They
were the 13th and 14th
perfect games posted in LCTA
bowling action this bowling
season.
Honourable mention goes to Jim Lapointe, Larry Plumb, Brandon
Gauthier, Pam Marciniszyn and
Ben Lapointe as they all rolled
great triples at Marcin Bowl.
Chopp tossed his career 8th
perfect game in his first game
on lanes 13 & 14 in the Marcin
Thursday Night Border City Men’s
League. He finished the night
with 724. It was his 3rd
300 this season, all
accomplished in the Border City
Men’s League.
Romanik recorded his career 2nd
perfect game in his second game
on lanes 15 & 16 in the Marcin
Sunday Morning Men’s League to
share the honours for high
single of the week. He finished
the day with 760 (300 – 106 pins
over average – 236 – 178 pins
over average for three games)
also taking the honours for the
week’s second highest triple.
Lapointe bowled 765

Bluewater Monday Night Men’s
League to post the week’s high
triple.
Larry Plumb hurled 758

Nelson Memorial Youth Provincial
Championship Scratch Tournament
in Mississauga winning the
silver medal and scholarship
money for his future
education.
Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Five will
take place on February 2/16 at
6:30. The oil pattern to be used
is the 2011-2012 PBA T of C with
an oil pattern distance of 39
feet. Come out and try your
luck. A really good turnout will
mean more qualifying spots.
