Sarnia Legionnaires End Weekend in Loss

The Legionnaires
played their fourth games in
five nights in Leamington Sunday
and came away with a 3 – 1 loss
against the Flyers.
The Flyers took the lead scoring
the only goal in the first
period. Brad Yowart scored
Sarnia's goal (his ninth of the
campaign) on a power-play goal
in the second.. Assists went to
Ryan Vendramin and Brock Perry.
In the third Leamington added
their final two goals the first
and second of the night by Cale
Phibbs and a power play goal by
Derek Elliott.
Sarnia went 1 – 5 on the power
play, Leamington went 1 for 3.
The Legionnaires
are now 17-15-2-3 and in sixth
place in the Western Conference
in the Greater Ontario Jr. B
Hockey league.
The Legionnaires return to
action Thursday when they host
the Chatham Maroons at the
Sarnia Arena at 7:10 pm.
