Mr. Sub dropped an 8-6 decision to
Kel-Gor in week three of the Sarnia Hockey Midget Tier 1
play-offs.
Noah Murray scored twice and added an assist for Kel-Gor. Donald
Stephenson also netted a pair of goals while singles went to
Ryan Nutt, Kristopher Meads, Hunter Thompson-Smith and Bryson
Daye. Tim MacNaughton supplied three assists in his efforts.
Marcus Cossa, Nevan Smith, Brandon Shanks, Jordan Hyde, Aaron
D’Angela, Lucas Davis, Justin Hyde, Murray and Meads each
supplied one.
The six individual snipers from Mr. Sub were Vaughan Degurse,
Zachary Matias, Jordy Grondin, Ethan Dufour, Craig Birkhead and
Eric Lange. Drawing the assists were Griffin MacLeod, Andrew
Kapteyn and Eric Lange.
Goalies Lucas Cicchelli (Kel-Gor) and Hendrik Lindout (Mr. Sub)
played great and kept their respective teams in the game.
Four
goals and two assists from Adam Kapteyn led D&S Service Centre
to an 11-4 ousting over Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen.
Peter Raymo also had a strong performance as he scored three
goals and added two assists in his efforts. Aaron Cicchini, Adam
Vanderlaan and Jake Soeder each tallied a goal and an assist. Ty
Espinola rounded out the scoring with one. Jake McAuley picked
up four helpers and Ryan Smith earned two. Jacob Serratore,
Nicholas Cooper and Cameron Vandenbossche garnered one assist
apiece.
Finding the back of the net for Pt. Edward was Connor Coopman
with a pair while Ethan Kilbreath and Austin Freer each had
singles. Eric Capes chipped in with a pair of assists and Aaron
Devereaux, Keegan Bressette and Kilbreath each had one.
Goalies Daniel Brush (Tier 2) picked up the win for D&S while
Noah Caverly (Pt. Edward) faced a lot of shots during this
contest.
