Mike Marciniszyn and George Reid posted the top scores in
Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week at Marcin Bowl.

            Marciniszyn wheeled 747 (279-248) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League to record the high triple of the week.

            Reid rolled 739 (289 – 80 pins over average – 235) in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League to register the week’s second high triple and the high single of the week. 

          Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Four will take place on January 5th at 6:30.

          Steve Lewicki fired 719 (237-268) in Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League competition.          In Marcin Triple A Mixed League activity, the women’s noted scores were Rachel McGrath 624 (211-224), Sondra Callum 566 (204-191), Shelley Thompson 564 (240 – 84 pins over average), Dianne Waddell 492 (191) and Wendy Street 489. The men’s upper scores were Walter Amyotte 581 (209), Dave Jones 568, Bill Kolotylo 563 (199), Mike Shoults 562 (196), Quincy VanEkeren 556 (215), James Docherty 236, Roger Croteau 208 and Hector Babin 199. The ladies’ were led by Liette Schafer 493 (180), Karen Lupi 477 (182) and Kylee Kilner 455 (197).         In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League fun, the women’s high scores were Mary Bradburn 521 (181), Bev Rankin 491 (191), Michelle Fraser 476, Mary – Lyn Parker 175 and Karen Smith 175. The men’s main scores were Dick Swain 488 (164), Albert Peters 457, Terry Bradburn 451, Harold Peters 174 and Ken McLeod 173. Starting the second half, team standings are Praying Mantis 8, Beatles 6, Bowl Weevils 6, The Beer Bugz 2, Fireflies 2 and Fire Ants 0.

        In Marcin Sunday Morning Ladies League action, leading scores were Joy Timington 534 (214), Deb Jones 503 (191), Shirley Stark 475 (170), Steph Chambers 468 and Sandra Paluch 450 (171).
