St. Pat's Irish defeated
Ursuline College from
Chatham Tuesday by a
score of 3 - 2 to win
the LKSSAA "AAA"
Championship title.
Leading the Irish on
offense were Lucas
Knowles with a goal and
an assist and Josh Vale
and Joe Correia each
with a goal.
Playing a strong game in
net for the Irish was
Jacob Knowles.
The Irish next move onto
post conference
competition to play in
the SWOSSAA Regional
Championships to be
played in Windsor within
two weeks time against a
Windsor high school team
that is yet to be
determined out of their
league playoffs. The
winner of the SWOSSAA
one game sudden-death
championship proceeds to
the provincial OFSAA
Championships.
The LKSSAA "AA"
championship is set for
Wednesday February 17
between Lambton Kent
High School (Dresden)
versus SCITS at 2:30pm
at Sarnia arena.
