The Sarnia Spirit u18's won the BMO Indoor Soccer League with a record of 15 wins, 2 ties and 3 losses.

In Challenge Cup play, the Spirit defeated Oakridge 4-1. Katie Barwitzki led the team with three goals and Lauryn Hibma had the single goal. In the final, the Spirit scored two goals in the last three minutes of the game to defeat Stratford 2-1. Stratford scored in the first half 1-0 and looked like they were going to win the game. Cassie Forte scored with three minutes to go to tie the score. Lauryn Hibma �scored in the last minute to give Sarnia the victory.

The Spirit will begins Outdoor League play in the OYSL, Canada's top youth soccer league beginning in the first week of May. The league has produced the Canadian National Championship team for the past five years. There are several players in the league who are carded with the Canadian National Team Program.

The team is looking forward to their second year in the league after finishing 4th last year in the West Division.
