Trio Toss Notable Triples; McMillan is Perfect

Larry Plumb Pat McMillan Brad Cook

          Larry Plumb, Pat McMillan and Brad Cook are highlighted this week in the Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling report as they rolled dominant scores in league action on the lanes.

        Plumb hurled 763 (237-258-268) in the Thursday Night Men’s League at Marcin Bowl to record the high triple of the week.

        McMillan fired 759 (245-300) in the Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League at Marcin Bowl. He achieved his career 4th perfect game in his second game of the night on lanes 27 & 28.

        Cook tossed 755 (241-245-269) in the Sunday Morning Men’s League at Marcin Bowl to record the week’s second highest triple.

         The ladies top bowler for the week was Pam Marciniszyn as she wheeled 687 (237-239) in the Thursday Night Mixed League at Marcin Bowl.

        In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League action, top scores were Barb Plant 476 (164-178), Karri Bouman 411 (187), Ashley Corr 400 and Kathy Donahue 146. Team standings are Monkey 20, Elephant 18, Lion 12, Mouse 10, Seal 8 and Crocodile 4.

        In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League fun, the women’s high scores were Dorothy Inglis 463 (177), Ada Brown 416 (163), Pam Bullock 416 and Karen Gormley 156. The men’s main rollers were Ken McLeod 512 (186-169), Harold Peters 479 (169) and Bryan Parker 477 (176-164). Team standings are Fire Ants 16, The Beer Bugz 14, Fire Flies 14, Bowel Weevils 12, Praying Mantis 12 and Beatles 4.

        In Marcin St. Joe’s Mixed League activity, the ladies’ main scores were Toni Verbeek 503 (179), Stella Strand 500 (209) Kristine Veenstra 477 and Laura Borody 459 (188). The men were led by Joe Bourgeois 568, Jerry Borody 210 and Joe Borody 203.

         In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Senior division, the top lady bowler was Rachel McGrath with 502 (178-176). The gents’ high scores were Connor Smith 617 (212-210) and Brett Zevenbergen 212.

         In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Intermediate division, the girls’ noted scores were Isadora Tremblay 439 (154), Kaela Koundakjian 429 (166-160) and Taelor Koundakjian 428. The gents’ best scores were Ben Lapointe 519 (210), Colton Smith 460 (168), Adam Harris 399, Cameron Verberg-Buchan 399 and Denver Taylor 168.

         In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Junior division, the girls’ upper scores were Amber Watson 480 (167-158), Shayla Crouse 431 (183) and Emily Harris 376. The boys’ main scores were Cole Barber 474 (173), Nick Lapointe 472 (175) and Mathew Waun 398.

         In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Senior Preps division, top scores were Kole Parkkila 331 (118), Camron Parkkila 327 (119) and Bryce Watson 322 (120).

        In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Junior Preps division, the girls’ best scores were Kyleigh Beauvais Chad 279 (96-95) and Laurianne Tremblay 237 (87). The boy’s high roller was Alex Majeski 241 (82-81).

         In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Bantams division, the girls were led by Elsa McKinley 319 (129), Tyleigh Winger 292 (105-104) and Shaylyn Blake 250 (99). Zachary Ingles was tops for the boys with 181 (66).

          In the Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Bumpers division, leading bumpers were Sophia Majeski 138 (70-68), Taylor Chad 121 (62-59) and Layla Stothers 84.

         In the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate division, the girls’ top scores were Kira Pelkie 520 (213), Cara Cullis 463 (178 – 84 pins over average and 181 pins over for three games), Hollie–Anne Jean 423 and Morgan Pelkie 175. The boys’ high wheelers were Jacob Bestard 527 (189-190), Ethan Boucher 519 (208), Branden Riberdy 512 (199), Joshua Trott 185 and Nicholas Sowden 163 – 79 pins over average.

        In the Marcin SMAA Bantams/Preps division, the boys’ best scores were Ryan Pinel 360, Jordan Button 358 (164), Noah Gauthier 302, Anthony Tessier 219 – 111 pins over average for three games Braden Scott 143 and Terrell Walker-Gray 106-62 pins over average.
