Tier 1
The first game of the Tier 1 regular season saw Kel-Gor and Mr. Sub
tied at 2 apiece heading into the third period before Mr. Sub
exploded with three power play goals on route to a 6-2 win. Tim
MacNaughton led the charge for Mr. Sub with a pair of goals. Also
finding the back of the net with singles were Craig Birkhead, Ethan
Dufour, Joe Iaccino and Griffin MacLeod. Jacob Ayers supplied a pair
of assists while Nick Goodall, Adam L’Heureux and Vaughan Degurse
each had one. Finding the mark for Kel-Gor were both Brandon Shanks
and Nevan Smith with singles. Both Ryan Nutt and Noah Murray chipped
in with one assist apiece. Despite the final outcome, both goalies
Hendrik Lindout (Mr. Sub) and Lucas Cicchelli (Kel-Gor) made a
number of key saves.
Game two of the night was a closely matched game as D&S Service
Centre edged out Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen 4-3. Both teams scored
while shorthanded. Adam Kapteyn enjoyed a two point game scoring
twice for D&S Service Centre while Nicholas Cooper netted a goal and
added an assist. Ty Espinola rounded out the scoring with one. Both
Aaron Cicchini and Peter Raymo earned an assist in their efforts.
Ethan Kilbreath also enjoyed a two point game scoring twice for Pt.
Edward Ex-Servicemen. Connor Coopman was the other marksman. Blake
Taylor picked up the only assist awarded. Goalies Nicholas Gardner
(D&S) and Noah Caverly (Pt.Ed.) had stellar performances between the
pipes.

Tier 2
Dante Club open the regular season defeating Lakeshore Optimists
5-2. Jacob Wurgler, Evan Vandenbossche and Mackenzie Fiddy each
scored a goal and an assist for Dante Club. Both Robert Smith and
Hunter Raymo rounded out the scoring with singles. Kristen Smalls
chipped in with an assist. Answering for Lakeshore Optimists were
Logan Harvey and Max Musico. Bryce Smiley picked up the only assist
awarded. Despite the final outcome, goalies Kenny Portiss (Dante
Club) and Johathan Kameka (Lakeshore Optimists) both played
exceptional during this contest.
Both Sarnia Cement and Beehive Windows and Doors had to settle with
a 3-3 tie to start their regular season. Sarnia Cement’s marksmen
were Eric Duguay, Darren Howes and Tyler Kapteyn while helpers went
to Savannah MacKinnon and Zach Roehler-Date each with one. Matt
Vandenberg scored once and added an assist for Beehive while singles
went to Dylan Schroeter and Tyler McNaught. Both Jamie Roberts and
William Lee earned an assist each in their efforts. Again it was a
battle of goaltenders as Daniel DiFederico (Sarnia Cement) and
Daniel Brush had outstanding performances between the pipes for
their respective teams.
