Dan Chopp, Roy Mezzatesta, George Reid, Jim
Burgess, Susan McGrath, Nick Lapointe and Joshua Trott share the
centre stage on the lanes as they had a great day in their
respective leagues at Marcin Bowl and Hi-Way Bowl in Lambton County
Tenpin Association bowling activity this past week.
Chopp rolled 738 (228-289-221) in
the Marcin Thursday Night Border City Men’s League to post the
week’s high triple. He is having a super year so far averaging 230
after eleven weeks of bowling while his closest competitor in the
league is averaging 212. He also has two perfect games to his credit
in the league this year. Chopp rolled the first ten strikes in game
two only to leave a solid, unapologetic 10 pin on his next delivery.
He has a career seven perfect games.
Mezzatesta fired 734 (252-257) in the
Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to claim honours for the
second high triple of the week.
Reid tossed 732
(257-269) in the Marcin Thursday Night Men’s League to record the
week’s third highest triple.
Burgess hurled 718 (247-253 – 142 pins
over average for three games) in the Marcin Thursday Night Border
City Men’s League.
McGrath bowled 683 (240-249 – 170 pins
over average for three games) in the Marcin Triple A Mixed League
Bowl to register the ladies high triple of the week.
Lapointe rolled 627 (236-202) in the
Hi-Way Youth Phantoms Junior division to record the youth high
triple of the week.
Trott recorded 605 (257 – 96 pins over average) in the Marcin SMAA
Junior/Intermediate division to achieve the youth second high triple
of the week.
Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Three will
take place on Tuesday December 1st at 6:30. Jordan
Croskery was the champion of Shoot Out Two. Hopefully we will have a
good turnout on the challenging sport lane conditions to ensure a
successful tournament.
Dennis Ramsay fired 728 (247-256) on
superb alley conditions in Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s
