
It was a high scoring offensive game
with Kel-Gor edging out D&S Service Centre 12 – 11. Marcus Cossa lit
the lamp with four goals and added an assist for Kel-Gor. Both
Donald Stephenson and Noah Murray chipped in with a pair of goals
and three assists. Ryan Nutt, Evan Martin and Andrew Kapteyn each
supplied a goal and an assist while Jordan Hyde rounded out the
scoring with a single. Evan Smith had three helpers in his efforts.
Tier 2 goalie Kenny Portiss was called up and got the win for
Kel-Gor.
Despite a short bench D&S gave a valiant effort. Both Ty Espinola
and Jacob Serratore netted hat tricks while Nick Cooper scored twice
and added an assist. Adam Kapteyn also scored a pair of goals while
Jake Trussler and Aaron Cicchini each had a goal and an assist. Jack
McAuley picked up a pair of assist while Ryan Smith and Espinola
each had one. Goaltender Nick Gardner was busy between the pipes for
D&S.

With 33 seconds remaining Joe Iaccino tied the game at three apiece
between Mr. Sub and Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen. Vaughan Degurse was in
on all three Mr. Sub goals scoring once and adding two helpers while
Eric Lange rounded out the scoring with one. Iaccino also earned an
assist in his efforts.
Finding the back of the net for Pt. Edward Ex-Servicemen was Aaron
Devereaux who scored twice. Jayce Barnaby enjoyed a three point game
scoring once and adding two assists in his efforts. Keegan Bressette
recorded an assist in the contest. Both goaltenders Hendrik Lindout
(Mr. Sub) and Noah Caverly (Pt. Ed Ex-Servicemen) provided several
key saves throughout the entire game.
