Former Pacer Brayden Bell Signs Jr. A Card
May 7, 2015

After a competitive training camp in which included 7
goaltender's attempting to crack roster of the Toronto Beaches Jr A
Lacrosse team, Brayden Bell, 17 was signed to a Jr. A card.
Brayden Bell, a rookie, played parts of two seasons with Point
Edward Pacers Jr. B, while compiling a 2.83 GAA with the Sarnia
Midget Pacers over the last two years.
Playing Jr. A lacrosse was a goal of Braydens, as he will join 5th
year goalie Michael Lalani for the 2015 season.
Reality set in, as Brayden realized his goal, but also the fact that
he is no longer going to be a teammate with some players he's played
with for 13 years.
"Its sad actually, never teammates, but forever a Pacer, and friend,
and I'll look forward to playing against some of them sometime soon"
stated Brayden
"All my coaches through my minor career, were important. The SMAA
Pacers organization was great to be a part of, and I look forward to
returning to Coach someday, to give back as much as I've taken, if
not more"
Brayden joins Beaches 2014 draft pick, and teammate through minor
Cory Burr.
"Blue & Yellow will be an adjustment, I'm so used to and love the
color Orange."
"I wish Point Edward Pacers the best of luck, and thank coach Randy
Dunn for the opportunity to step up to Jr. A, along with continued
support from Ken Burr, GM of Pacers, who serves as my "agent"" says
Brayden with a grin
"My biggest fans, are also people that keep me grounded, my Papa,
and parents. I guess the coaching my Dad gave me worked. We compete
internally in my house, with my dad, brother Keegan, also being
goalies, on whose better!" "Its Keegan." states Brayden.
Another former Pacer signed to a Jr. A card is Blain Adams, who
signed recently with Kitchener Braves Jr. A. Brayden, & Cory's
Beaches will take on Blain's Braves May 14.
"It will be cool, I hope if I'm in net Blain doesn't torch me up,
like in practice growing up"
Toronto Beaches Jr. A open this Saturday on the road in Mimico, with
Home opener May 22 vs Whitby.
"Its an honour and privilege to play Jr. A, developing and maturing
as a goalie at this level, Angus Goodleaf (NLL Rochester Knighthawks
goalie) will serve as my goalie coach, I'm looking forward to his
guidance!"
"Jr. A is fast paced, with some of the best box players in Canada,
it will be a step up from Jr. B & Midget speed, I'm looking forward
to the challenge."
