Camlachie Connection Win Sarnia Lawn Bowling Tournament

The Camlachie connection came through with the win in the most recent tournament action at the Sarnia Lawn Bowling Club.

Gerry Wild and Bill Nowosad – members of the Sarnia club who reside at Camlachie – were the winners in the On-Line Sealing men’s pairs tournament held July 8, finishing with the top scores ahead of Blake McKay and Ed Braithwaite in second, and Dave Moffitt and Bill Recor in third.

Summer tournament action continues July 18 at the Germain Park bowling greens with the Robb Funeral Home open pairs event, while regular club jitneys take place Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:15 p.m.
