league action
and edged out
the Radars with
a final score of
4 - 3.
Heading into
this game
Clinton was
leading by a
single point in
the standings
race and with
the win the
Squires took
their spot to
end with a
record of
16-7-0-1 for the
season and third
place in the
South Division.
Petrolia took a
2 - 0 lead with
the first goal
scored at 1:30
into the game by
Dan Veenema and
the second
scored at 6:35
by Breydan Belan.
Clinton came
back 20 seconds
later scoring
their first goal
by Luke Vick.
Vick then went
on and and tied
the game on a
power play at
13:43.
With 4:26
remaining in the
period Dan
Veenema scored
his second of
the game
shorthanded to
regain the lead
at 3 -2.
In the third
Clinton took the
lead for the
first time at
3:19 into the
third with Vick
scoring his
third of the
game for the hat
trick.
With 5:09
remaining in the
second Chris
Wilson scored
for the Squires
to regain the
lead. That lead
would remain the
same for the
remaining of the
game to give
Petrolia the
win.
Chris Houle
earned the win
in net made 47
saves in the
game.

into playoffs,
