Lambton Lions Basketball Teams Come up Short

Lambton College Women and Men's basketball teams hosted Niagara College in OCAA league action on Saturday.

The Lambton Ladies fell to 6 - 11 on the season after taking a 73 - 69 loss.

The Men's team also took a loss with a final score of 87 - 80 against Niagara. The Men's record is now 10 - 7 for the season.

Both teams conclude the regular season next Saturday when they host Redeemer University from Ancaster.

The Ladies have been eliminated from post season play. However the men can clinch 4th place in the West and a home playoff game with a win next Saturday. A loss and they will travel to the 4th place team in the East Division the following week.
