Bowling Scores for Week Ending Dec 26
 

Shephard, Marciniszyn, Ramsay, Crowe And Bestard Roll High Scores

            Mike Shephard, Mike Marciniszyn, Dennis Ramsay, Melissa Crowe and Jacob Bestard rolled the high scores in Lambton County Tenpin Association bowling action this past week at Marcin Bowl. Honourable mention goes to Rob Plamondon for recording a difficult achievement.

           Shephard fired 804 (289-258-257 – 132 pins over average for three games) on lanes 29 & 30 in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to post the high triple of the week. It was his career 4th 800 plus series and he also is the owner of eight perfect games. It was the second 800 series tossed in LCTA action this bowling season, the other one belonging to Jim Creasor who set a new city record with 876 in week four.

            Marciniszyn wheeled 785 (257-248-280 – 134 pins over average for three games) on lanes 19 & 20 in the Marcin Sunday Morning Men’s League to register the second high triple of the week.

            Ramsay hurled 299 – unapologetic, uncooperative 4 pin – in his first game in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League to record the week’s high single. He finished the day with 735 (237).

          Crowe pitched 665 (237-258) in the Marcin Tuesday Night Ladies League to post the ladies high triple.

          Bestard rolled 651 (212-234 – 74 pins over average – 205 - 171 pins over average for three games) in the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate division to lead the way for the Youth bowlers.

         Plamondon tossed 648 (216-216-216) in the Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League. The difficult triplicate feat was performed on lanes 19 & 20.

          Marcin Bowl Shoot Out Four will take place on Tuesday January 5th at 6:30. Build up your courage over the Christmas holidays to participate in this tournament which is held on an oil sport shot lane condition.

          Steve Lewicki cranked 737 (280-241) in Marcin Bluewater Monday Night Men’s League rivalry.         In Marcin St. Joe’s Mixed League action, the men were led by Joe Bourgeois 633 (258), Terry Mundy 629 (211-214), Joe Borody 576 (231), Jerry Borody 202, Stephen Willock 190 and Mike Woodall 190.The women’s high scores were Tonie Verbeek 463 and Laura Borody 460 (189).

         In Airey Lanes Thursday Ladies Happy Hour League fun, leading scores from a makeup week were Amanda Leitch 531 (218-180), Adwina Whitsitt 470 (179), Ada Brown 455 and Carrie Wood 175. The best scores this week were Adwina Whitsitt 489 (165), Bev Rankin 485 (181), Lee Classen 463 and Ashley Corr 195. Team standings are Mouse 98, Crocodile 80, Seal 78, Monkey 72, Lion 64 and Elephant 64.

         In Airey Lanes Sunday Night Mixed League play, the ladies’ main scores from a makeup week were Mary Bradburn 524 (191), Bev Rankin 508 (184), Ada Brown 459, Mary Lyn Parker 455 (166-157), Adwina Whitsitt 434 (181) and Dorothy Inglis 177. The men’s noted scores were Ralph Noyle 524 (226), Tom Taylor 487 (177-176), Harold Peters 473 (183), Ken McLeod 486 (192), Rick McIntosh 464 and Albert Peters 183.          Rounding out the gents’ scores from the Marcin SMAA Junior/Intermediate division were Branden Riberdy 573 (212-214), Joshua Trott 523 (204), Johnathon Kameka 493 (205 – 72 pins over average), Ethan Boucher 467 (188), Maximillian Michelucci 455 (163), Aiden Osborn 433 (168), Jarod Pelkie 430 (158), Grant Remes 424 (150) and Dawson Yates-Strangways’s 151 single. The ladies’ noted scores were Morgan Pelkie 534 (204), Kira Pelkie 521 (202), Hollie-Anne Jean 468 (180), Cara Cullis 433 (170), Madison Kehler 426 (165), Ashley Toulouse’s 151 single and Abbey Yates-Strangways’s 131 single.

        In the Marcin SMAA Bantams/Preps division, the boys’ upper scores were Ryan Pinel 390 (135-131), Jordan Button 379 (139), Braden Scott 375 (131-130), Noah Gauthier 366 (139), Jake Coggins 363 (136-139), Nick Coggins 316, Noah LeClair 299 (113), Hunter Mitchell 296 (107-103), Anthony Tassone 258 (110) and Carson Baker 214.
