A report was presented to Council, and approved, on April 14, 2014 recommending a one year pilot project for the installation of a dog park located in Clearwater Park.

Since the approval of this report, numerous concerns have been received from affected stakeholders, mostly ball groups, regarding the dog park being located at Clearwater Park.

A motion for reconsideration of Council’s decision on this matter was passed at the September 8, 2014 Council meeting. Council will reconsider its previous decision at the September 29, 2014 meeting.

A staff report has been prepared, and is now available on the City’s website www.sarnia.ca

It has been released in advance of the meeting to give the stakeholders an opportunity to review staff’s recommendation.
