The Sarnia Lawn Bowling
Club is hosting of the
Ontario Provincial
Novice Triples Lawn
Bowling Competing and
after round robin play
on day one on Saturday
three local teams have
moved on to day two in a
single knockout format.
Sixteen Novice teams
from across the Province
in each Men and Women
Division from across the
Province were competing
on Saturday.
Novice bowlers are
bowlers who have five
years or less
experience.
After three games on
Saturday the Sarnia
Ladies who are
representing District 2
took first place in
their pool with three
wins. On the men's side
two local club have
moved on. The
District 2 champions
took second in their
pool with two wins and a
loss to advance and a
second Sarnia team, a
fill in team, took first
place in their pool
winning all three games.
Action resumes today
(Sunday) with 8 teams
competing and the
winners in the first
game will move on and
play game two that will
which teams will play
for Gold/Silver or
Bronze medal games.
The final games will be
played at approximately
2:30 pm at the Sarnia
Lawn Bowling Club
located in the South
West corner of Germain
Park.
