man 18U roster for Team Canada
Junior National Baseball team.
The 17 year old right handed
pitcher was in Orlando Florida
from Oct 2 - 12 attending the
Fall Instructional League camp.

practices and a nine-game
exhibition schedule against
Major League Baseball Fall
Instructional League clubs from
the Atlanta Braves, Houston
Astros, Washington Nationals and
Toronto Blue Jays.
Whitbread will return to Florida
to St. Petersburg during the
March break for spring
training.
The training camps not only
offers the players a chance to
represent their country while
improving their skills but will
also provides plenty of exposure
from colleges and and
professional scouts who use the
training camp as an opportunity
for talent evaluation.
All trips are in preparation for
the 2015
IBAF 18U World Cup in
Nishinomiya, Japan.
Whitbread is in Grade 12 at St.
Clair Secondary School and a
former player for the Sarnia
Braves. He is now playing for
the Great Lake Canadians, a team
out of London that is coached by
former pro players Adam Arnold,
Chris Robinson, Adam Stern and
Kirk Barclay. The Great Lakes
team plays mainly against US
Teams and Colleges.
