Sarnia Legionnaires tied the
win streak record last night
in Forest after defeating
the Lambton Shores Predators
3 - 1 in Greater Ontario
Junior Hockey league action.
The Preds came out
determined and scored just
:29 seconds into the game
when Ethan Sarfati from
Colin Burns and Franco
Sproveiro scored the first
goal of the game.
Riley Roberts knotted the
game at 15:11 in the first
with Jay Clarke and Nathan
Mater earning points on the
play.

Ste Marie native Ryan
Vendramin scored the game
winner for the Legionnaires.
Babkirk and Jordan Fogarty
earned the assist.
The insurance goal was
scored midway into the third
period by Cody Trowell from
Vendramin and Kyler Keating
and the Legionnaires held on
to take their 13th win and a
record of 13 - 0.
Hunter Johnson earned his
8th win of the season making
29 saves in the game.
Andrew Harriman-Duke
suffered the loss also made
29 saves.
Both sides went scoreless on
the power play. Sarnia
had four opportunities,
Lambton Shores had seven.
The Legionnaires have two
back to back road games
ahead of them before
returning home.
On Saturday October 25th the
Legionnaires will go for win
#14 to beat the club record
in Strathroy against the
Rockets, game time 7:30 pm.
They are back on the road
the next night to face off
against Chatham at 7:00 pm.
