The Lambton Ladies Hockey
Recreation Division got
underway this week with
three games all played at
the RBC Centre.
Rinking Havoc vs Ice
Queens
In the Recreation Division
season opener Rinking Havoc
defeated the Ice Queens 2 –
1. Julie Adams scored both
goals for Rinking Havoc and
Erin Roefs scored for the
Ice Queens. Pam Kettlewell
earned the win in net for
Havoc.
Red Devils vs Varka
In the second game of the
evening the Red Devils edged
Varka 4 – 3. Justine Goulet
scored a natural hat trick
for the Devils and Lisa
Chafe scored the game
winner. Scoring for Varka
were Heather Riddock,
Kaitlyn Blencowe and Justine
Guarrdi. Jennifer Watson
earned the win in net for
the Red Devils.
Hot Tomalies vs Crazy
Canucks
The final game of the night
the Hot Tomalies shut out
the Crazy Canucks in a close
1 – 0 game. Deb Walker
scored the game winner for
the Hot Tomalies and
netminder Chantelle
Valliant earned the shutout.
The Ladies are back in
action on Monday October 20
with Varka taking on the
Crazy Canucks at 8:30,
Rinking Havoc will go up
against the Hot Tomalies at
9:30 and in the final game
at 10:30 the Ice Queens will
face off against the Red
Devils.
