The
Sarnia Police Association Tiger
Sharks prevailed over the
Optimist Club of Sarnia
Lakeshore Grizzlies in a close,
hard fought game by a score of
30-22. Dylan Gallant was a one
man gang for the Sharks scoring
all his team's points with 4
touchdowns and three converts.
The Grizzlies majors were
counted by Jackson Smiley, Avert
Smiley and Garrett Patterson.
Patterson added a convert for
his team.
The
Mammoet Crane Mammoths were
victorious over the Mechanical
Contractor's Toros 21-12. Joel
Card scored a pair of touchdowns
in the first quarter as the
Mammoths opened up a 12-0 lead.
The Toros replied with a
touchdown by Brett Riley. There
was no scoring in the second
quarter and the Mammoths went to
the break at half time with a
12-6 advantage. Card ran for
another touchdown in the fourth
quarter and Justin Cain's
convert increased the Mammoths
lead. The Toros did not quit as
Riley once again broke the plane
of the goal line making it a 1
score game. The Mammoths
recovered the ensuing short kick
of the Toros and hung on for the
victory.
