Pattenaude lost by one
stroke to Michael
Rizzetto in the Men's
individual Championship
at the Ontario Colleges
Athletic Association (OCAA)
Golf Championships.
Pattenaude began the day
four strokes behind
Rizzetto, and shot a top
round of one-under 71 to
claim the OCAA silver
medal. It marks
Lambton's first OCAA
golf medal since Peter
Hilbert won gold in
1976.
Rizzetto shot a two-over
74 in the final round to
win the men's individual
championship by one
stroke over Eric
Pattenaude of Lambton
College. Rizzetto led
the competition from
start to finish with
rounds of 71, 72 and 74.
He is the first OCAA
men's individual
champion from Mohawk
since Craig Patterson in
1973. Pattenaude
finished with rounds of
76, 71 and 71.
The Lambton College
Men’s Team finished 6th
overall at the
Championships.
