On Saturday, the
Lambton Jr Sting AAA
Minor Bantam's fell
5-3 at home to Sun
County in their only
game on the
weekend.
Sun County took a
1-0 lead on a first
period power play
but the Sting
responded quickly on
a Liam Madill goal
less than a minute
later. Cameron Ware
and Nolan DeGurse
earned assists on
the play. The Sting
would take a 2-1
lead on a power play
goal of their own
from Hunter
Monkhouse assisted
by DeGurse. However
Sun County would tie
the game at 2 before
the period came to
an end.

Madill's second of
the game, assisted
by Jacob Rochford,
gave the Sting a 3-2
lead early in the
second period but
the Panthers tied
the game at 3 with
their second power
play marker of the
day. Sun County
scored midway
through the third
period to go up 4-3
and added an empty
